Choc chip cookies
Do these really need an introduction? I mean, who doesn't love a chocolate chip cookie? With the added bonus of being made from wholefood ingredients, these delicious bites make for a yummy snack any time of day!
Ingredients
(Makes 10-12 cookies)
2 cups of rolled oats
60g of liquid coconut oil
1/3 of a cup of roughly chopped dark chocolate
60g of honey
1 egg
½ tsp of baking powder
1 tsp of bicarb soda
Method
Preheat oven to 150 degrees Celsius
Blend the rolled oats into a fine flour
Combine and mix all ingredients in a large bowl
Let the mixture rest for 5 minutes
Roll into balls and flatten slightly on a lined baking tray
Bake for approximately 20 minutes or until lightly golden
Enjoy immediately or store in an airtight container for up to 4-5 days (note: cookies will last longer if stored in the refrigerator)
